This trip is suited both to beginners and advanced divers.
Although you can complete different diving courses at the Robinson Club, we recommend that you do this beforehand in Luxembourg at the Dive Center Splash so that you can enjoy the marvellous Red Sea dive spots from day one. Two dives a day are possible. The Club offers a variety of sports and activities for those not interested in diving.
Ms Stéphanie Wilwert of Voyages Globus will accompany this trip. She has in-depth knowledge of the local dive sites as she worked at the Robinson Club for 8 months as a Dive Master.
The dive sites :
The SSI Red Sea dive centre offers one of the most beautiful diving territories in the world. It is close to the
Panorama Reef, the 7 towers and lots of other extraordinary sites.
Half-day or full-day excursions are organised to the various dive sites. The boat transfer is about 10-25 minutes for
the half-day trips, up to 1.5 hours for the full-day excursions.
Diving Equipment:
Equipment hire is chargeable.
The centre has 70 Scubapro equipments, dive computers and photographic equipment, snorkeling gear, DIN-standard steel tanks,
12-l DIN-standard steel or aluminum tanks for Nitrox (Nitrox for free). Collaboration with DECO International et SAR.
Decompression chamber within vicinity of the Club (Safaga, 14km)
The Robinson Club :
The Club has a flat sandy beach, about 500m long which gives onto a fascinating coral reef. The weather is dictated by
the desert climate, that is: hot during the day with a gentle breeze and refreshingly cool at night.
The airport of Hourghada is about 47km away, Luxor 240km, Cairo 460km. The closest town is Safaga (18km).
Infrastructure :
Sports centre, 7 tennis courts, dive centre, beach volleyball, theatre, main pool, kids pool, well fit-pool, internet and a lot more.
Eating and drinking :
All-inclusive, table wine, beer, soft drinks served in the buffet area as well as tea and coffee after meals.
Different buffets, late breakfast for those who fancy a lie-in, midnight snacks.
Fitness :
Group fitness activities include aerobics, step, fitness, abs-thighs and back, aqua fit, indoor cycling, walking & shape.
The rooms :
The rooms are comfortable and have a balcony, AC, shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite tv, fridge, telephone, safe. Each room is equipped with moveable single beds.
