This question has already been partially answered here before. The Open Water Diver certification (the basic training) is giving you the possibility to profit from diving for a life time, without special conditions.
This means, you can dive, in the whole world, under the same or even better conditions than while your training experiences, for example during dives on holidays.
If you want to participate in special activities, f. ex. night dives, wreck dives,...we would advice you to do a complementary training. See the heading 'school' Advanced Open Water Diver or Specialty Diver.
